More Love Yoga & Wellness Branding

This yoga instructor about to open her own studio needed a brand identity as unique as her practice. The More Love Yoga & Wellness brand had to reflect versatile offerings—private lessons, in-studio classes, stand up paddle board yoga and the only active yoga of 12-step recovery in her area—and core values of joy, ease, compassion and service. Warmth, community, contentment and the outdoors were all in my mind and on my inspiration board as I developed the look and feel of this brand.

The More Love Yoga & Wellness visual identity projects a joyful, summery, outdoorsy vibe, as seen here in one of the seven-color combined logo versions with arched text. The visual identity is clean and flowing with vintage flair, featuring stylized nature iconography and retro-inspired letterforms.

Different logo compositions easily scale to fit different needs, as shown in the More Love Yoga & Wellness brand board above. A generous color palette opens the door to many color combinations—yin and vinyasa classes can each have their own color scheme. And the badge mark’s artwork becomes a separate icon set, perfect for calling out different principles and concepts, or creating an illustrative pattern to enliven the brand’s offerings.

The More Love Yoga & Wellness brand standards detail how to pair the brand colors with photography and showcase the typographic pairing. Lemongrass script, the inspiration for the logo’s primary lettering, is a warm and breezy typeface with a ’70s vibe. It combines beautifully with Noto Sans, clean and readable at text sizes with a variety of weights for versatility.
